I fell at Amicalola Falls

I fell at the park, near the bridge over the falls. My wrist is swollen and sore. It was not real smart to be running with ice on the ground, especially with the Epic Journey coming up in a few days.

Dennis Oldakowski in Manhattan

Dennis is getting ready to run the Midnight Run in Central Park. It is a very popular 5k that starts at midnight as we start the new year. This will be his fifth straight year.

His sister died

While I running up the paved road at Amicalola Falls, a car pulled over. The man approached and asked if he could shake my hand. He did and gave me a quick hug, and explained that his sister had recently passed away with Alzheimer’s disease.
