The National Alzheimer’s Plan and Appropriations

It was designed to fight alzheimer’s disease. The money has never matched what the plan called for. I have read that alzheimer’s could bankrupt America by 2050, if left unchecked. 1309, according to the Alzheimer’s Association, people are diagnosed with alzheimer’s disease every day.

Use Google to read more about the goal and other information in the National Alzheimer’s Plan and Appropriations Act.

Here is a link to some information about the plan. This link will take you to the website of the National Institute of Health.

  1. Short termism! Accountants cannot always see that we need to spend money in the short term to save money in the long term, and to be fair to them the research funds have to be found from somewhere and the only place there is any money is in people’s pockets, therefore more taxation!
