I wonder how research works . . . . . #ENDALZ

Who comes up with the ideas? Who makes sure duplication does not happen? Who makes sure all information is shared? Who makes sure the scientists read that information? Who stops a bad experiment? Who awards the grants? Who reviews the grants?

Lots of questions. I’m not positive, but I think all of the money congress budgets for research goes to the National Institutes of Health and they take it from there.

They have an important job. Millions of lives are in the hands of these folks, it seems.

  1. Jack, you may want to look at all the research studies listed on pubmed.gov: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/ I think this is one way researchers see who is doing what. Put Alzheimer’s in the search bar and look at all the studies!
