Childhood diabetes  . . . . .

During my 19 year career in the insurance business I came upon many children with diabetes. It was termed “childhood diabetes” They were turned down by the carrier immediately. Some policies that were written and issued were for 10 years, with guaranteed renewability anytime during the ten years to a whole life product, at double the face value. Hundreds had been issued to children before the diagnosis of diabetes. I converted every one in my area by being honest about it possibly being the only life insurance the child may ever have. I met every child and sat with each one. I was inspired by each. Noah’s March Across America revived these memories.  Those were good times that have become great memories.

Those children later morphed into adults that took wedding vows and became parents that were glad they had life insurance.
