The least crowded place I have ever ran . . . . .

I drove to Goffs, California to do a symbolic run in the Mojave National Preserve. I had been spending time with the Alzheimer’s Association staff in Grand Junction, Colorado. My car was decked out with her signs, and I wore my Alzheimer’s Association shirt. As I was parking, a pick-up passed, the driver waved. That was it. The rest of the time I was there I did not see another vehicle or person. I was on Lanfair Road. I did, however, see a dove. It landed near my feet, walked a few steps, and flew away. I ran, jogged and walked 10 miles in the preserve. That was pretty cool for me. I found peace there. Ah, I did not want to leave. Yep, like many other places, I did not want to leave.

A good time became a Great Memory. I would like to visit again.

Here are pictures.
