There are over 15 million caregivers in the United States that concern themselves with alzheimer’s disease. A lot of these folks don’t have a pot to pee in. They don’t get to do fun anymore. It’s estimated that 35% of caregivers will die before the person they are caring for. The caregivers deal with loneliness, incontinence, violence and many other horrific things.
I do this for them. I’m keeping a promise. Everything I have and will have is promised to my fight with alzheimer’s disease.
