I’ve been on this trip for 6 days now.
I have been able to meet, spend time and speak with some extremely knowledgeable folks, concerning aging.
We spoke about prevention of alzheimer’s, about caregiving, the low occurence rate of alzheimer’s in India and medication for the elderly. This has been eye opener for me. Two sides to every thing.
This is serious and I take it that way. I made a promise in an ICU bed in 2001. I aim to keep it, no matter what occurs.
I will continue to learn all I can and I will speak of it to any that will listen.
The estimates are that 1,309 human beings are being diagnosed with alzheimer’s disease every day in America. There is no cure.
