Are you an athlete?

Mark Bravo, in his book, explains how he views the term and it’s application.

His words . . . “When I label one an athlete, it speaks more to the whole person. One’s intestinal fortitude, staying power, and grace under pressure mean every bit as much as their 5k time in a race. For me, the embodiment of a true athlete is clear cut: one doing the very best they can under particular circumstances, especially those in which adversity plays a part. When we’re backed against the wall, only then can we truly show others, and ourselves more importantly, what we’re made of.”
