Epic

2012

The training began on June 1 and the project unofficially started.

2013

I left Skidaway Island, near Savanna Georgia and pushed a jogging stroller to Kingman, Arizona. In Kingman, the passenger seat of a car became home for two days, and in Paso Robles, California, I started pushing again and finished in Monterey.

The total milage between Skidaway Island State Park, and the Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory in Monterey were 3052. Of those miles 2,594 were on the ground, pushing my stroller, and 458 were in the passenger seat of a car. This Journey was to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.

2014

Ran, jogged, walked and talked 3500 miles at Amicalola Falls State Park in north Georgia. Many car trips to several places made this the biggest year for miles on foot. This work was to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.

2015

Drove, ran, jogged, walked and talked from Tybee Island, Georgia to Goffs, California. This work was to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.

2016

I began another attempt at crossing America on foot, went approximately one hundred miles and became a full time caregiver for mom, mixed in with a lot of advocacy work on social media and jogging and walking to raise money and awareness for charities.

2017

Full time caregiver, mixed in with a lot of advocacy work on social media and jogging and walking to raise money for charities. This became my lowest miles on foot year since the project began.

2018

Full time caregiver, mixed in with a lot of advocacy work on social media and jogging and walking to raise money for charities. On March 1, my advocacy moved to Down syndrone.
