The five year project started on June 1st, 2012. On January 12th, 2013 myself and a jogging stroller left the Atlantic Ocean and headed west to the Pacific. On foot 2,594 miles and another 458 in the passenger seat of a car. Ended the journey at Marina, California. This was done to raise awareness concerning alzheimer’s disease and money for the Alzheimer’s Association. The elapsed time for the trip across America was 7 months and 9 days.

The project continued on with purpose. Here are some numbers;

  • over 15,000 miles on foot
  • over 24,000 miles in a car
  • traveled in 16 states
  • over $40,000.00 raised for the Alzheimer’s Association

    Lots of help, from a lot of folks, in a lot of ways.
